I have old style Dongle which must connect to PC using Parallel port but some PC today have no parallel port anymore. If I buy the USB to parallel cable and plug that old dongle , could otm be able to find that dongle ? Has anyone ever tried about this issue ?

There is also a procedure to change out your Parallel dongle with a USB dongle.

You will have to contact your vendor.
