Hello,I added a 22 button blf to a 2616 last week.The cust wanted to monitor her groups acd outcall dns.She is not a member of the acd group.I added 22 dns to the module.The agents have 2 outdial line each.This afternoon I get a report that the agents message lite is not coming on.I made the dns scn and said no to marp.Any ideas what would cause this? The acd group is working fine.Both of the outdial dns on the phones are set up for voicemail and have been working great for 2 years.Why would that line appearance shut down the message lamp?

On the phones that the light is not coming on try changing the message waiting key to "xmwk xxxx yyyy" where xxxx is the dn for the voicemail and yyyy is the extension that is marped on the phone.

On ACD phones the Agent personal DN is not a prime DN on a phone.If it is added to multiple phones Voice mail gets confused and does not know where to send the Message light. You can do what Spivy suggests or add a DN that only appears on the agent's phone and make the Voice mail turn on that DN.

Thanks spivy and ptec for the help.I changed the mwk key and the lamps started working.The other suggestion would have worked also,but the boss wouldnt have been able to monitor the agents dn like she wanted to.
