Location: Meechigan Rep Power: 5 ![]() | ** No replies yet - does this mean I'm pooched? Anyone have anything to say? ** I have an M1 Option 11C (Release 25 software) with 4 remote fiber cabinets. The main shelf has an SSC card with a 4-port fiber daughterboard in it, which connects via fiber to the 4 remote shelves, each of which has an SSC with a fiber daughterboard as well. One of the remote cabinets is not working properly, and in the past when we have remote cabinet problems we have just powered down the remote cabinet, let it sit for a minute, and powered it back up and - voila! The connection comes up OK and everyone is happy. Today, however, our "trick" is not working and I have not even the first clue as to what to do next in terms of troubleshooting this. What should I look for next? I am doubtful that the fiber connection itself is the problem, as there have been no changes to the connections nor (at least to my knowledge) has anyone touched the cabinets or fiber connections. Is there a specific LD I should look to for help in diagnosing the problem with the remote cabinet connection, the SSCs, or the daughterboards? Thanks in advance for your help!

Location: Meechigan Rep Power: 5 ![]() | I did find some LD 135 and LD 117 commands to help troubleshoot this, unfortunately they were not all that helpful. We also re-booted the main and remote cabinets to no avail. I am calling the switch vendor to take the troubleshooting from here, since I can't have this thing down much longer while I stumble through trying to figure it out. Thanks for your help and God Bless you all.
