I am trying to setup an 2002 IP phone. When I plug it in it keeps trying to find S1. How can I get it to give me the options for dhcp?? :wink:

Somewhere out there is a manual procedure for placing the IP sets into config mode and rebooting them without unplugging them and dropping the PC connection in the process.

Other than you should be able to get into config by swiping the feature buttons left to right as soon as you plug it in... or am I thinking of a different phone?

To rest your IP phone press
Mute, Up Down, Up, Down, Up, Mute, 9, Release.
When the Display says "Nortel" press the four soft keys one after another from left to right. You know should be able to get in and configure DHCP and Ip address for the Signaling server or if you have a BCM the IP address for the BCM.

After many tries and I mean many, I was able to get it going. The 2004 are lot easier.
