Location: Lou, KY Rep Power: 9 ![]() | Meridian Mail Static I have several ERR3036 and ERR3037 messages all steming from loop 98. Loop 98 is my loop to the second node of my MerMail. Am I looking at a reboot of the Utility Card for that node? rlc PS - they performed a power down yesterday and this unit has been tossing these errors all day today.... first day of full usage since the restore of power.

Location: Lou, KY Rep Power: 9 ![]() | Hey Slag: Yeah, probably... I believe that it is. I disabled the card and the loop 98. Then I disabled the DSPs in MerMail. I brought up the loop and the card then the DSPs and made some test calls. When I hit those ports there didn't seem to be any static. I will keep my eyes open for more ERR3036s and 3037s, in the morning, when I review the HST. Next, I suppose will be a reboot of the MMP40 card, for that node and then a software reload even.........G-d I hope I don't have to do one of those. rlc

Location: Lou, KY Rep Power: 9 ![]() | The folks that performed the power down are now telling me that the back up of mail failed but, they went ahead and shut it off without diagnosing. Great! I will check the hardware first. I really don't want to do a software reload. rlc

Location: East Coast Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Last year I started experiencing static problems with node 2 on the MMail. The static would move from port to port.. sometimes there, sometimes not. I was also getting ERR3036-37 off and on. First thing I did was replace the network cards, but the issue seemed to be on the mail side. I tried reseating cards, to no avail. Wound up replacing the Utility/Modem card, and everything was fine.

Location: Lou, KY Rep Power: 9 ![]() | My Out of Service Diagnostics pass on the VP8 and on the MMP40. I am going to shut down the loop and swap the QPC414C and see if that has any impact. This is so sporatic I can't really test and get immediate info. Basically, I am waiting to see if the ERRs continue or not. Thanks for the feedback. rlc
