System limitation... this may be an ACD issue.

I have reached my system limitation on having source queues go to voice mail directly. I thought by building a 1 position queue and night call forwarding it to voice mail I could create an additional target queue to access voice mail. I need more than 6 source queues to hit voice mail. In the VSDN table I have 2468 built as VM. Here is a cleaner explaination:

3007 is the source queue and it is set to TOFT to the OVDN of 1456.
1456 is a 1 position queue that NCFW to voice mail 4444.
In the VSDN table 1456 is set to VM.
If I call 1456 I hit voice mail just fine.
If I call 3007 and all agents are busy I hear the RAN but then I get dead air. I never overflow or TOF to the voice mail system. There is a mail box built for the source queue so when I hit voice mail it should have an application to hit. I don't wish to strip off voice mail ports and dedicate them to this 1456 number. I am trying to work around the system limitation of only 6 source queues can point to a single target queue. In English, I have more than six queues that want to overflow to voice mail.

This is a bit redundant but, I think you get the idea.

Rachelle,

Please dont take this the wrong way, but basic ACD is not designed to do what you are trying to do. Symposium is what you need, and there is no limit to the amount of areas " CDN's" that you can send to mermail. In fact, symposium will interact with mermail and intelligently direct the calls. CCR was a product that could be used to do this, but it has been retired and has been phased out.

TTI count

We went with using the NACD routing. This will allow us to hit voice mail more than 6 times from various source queues. Thank you to everyone for your input.
