Is anyone using the Nortel Meridian Integrated Conference Bridge? If so, do you know if the automated confirmation e-mail the system sends can be customized to exclude certain fields?

I don't believe that you can, what I do is have the mail sent to me then I edit it and forward the info to the end user.

I agree wiv G...I know of no way of changing the information in the E.Mail confirmation sent to the conference owner, it seems to be in a set format

In version 2 (MICB-2) there's no way. In MICB-3 the Email can be customized by the administrator, affecting all users. Fields can be modified, I'm not sure about excluding fields.

Thanks for your input, everyone. I knew that Release 3 had the capability to be customized but wasn't sure about Release 2 (which is what we're using).

Don't know if it helps ya anymore but it is true that v3 does allow you to put some personalized text into the fields but as far as excluding anything no. I wish they would. But I do the same thing I have it pretty well customized the way I want but I still edit out some stuff before forwarding it on.

Don't know if anyone has heard of this problem.My former vendor said that after every 3rd backup when you logon to a new conference it will kick you off which has happened to us.

Are you talking about backups on the Rel 3 Conference Bridges? I have been doing backups on ours ever since install and haven't had a single problem? I have it backup nightly. What version of the firmware are you running? When we first bought the first 3.0 I had some issues with the bridge locking the ethernet side out. But they upgraded me to 3.01.18 and haven't had a problem since.
