Hi,

came across this the other day. I tried to out a 3904 on our 81c and when i did i get the following error code

SCH8825

is this because the phone is in a hunt group. I've never setup a phone on a nortel with a hunt group so i don't know how to remove this option. The phone should not have been in one in the first instance, also would i have to remove any other phones in the group? or remove the group from somewhere if there was only one other phone in it?

As the error tells you, you must first remove the DN from the group hunt list. You can print those in LD 20:
REQ prt
TYPE ght
LSNO (leave blank)
the system returns all configured group hunt lists. Find the LSNO that uses 5799 as PLDN.
In LD 18 you must remove the DN from what ever STOR it's currently at.

Hi, the help has been marvelous, i've never used lv 57 b4 haha, anyways ill trade avaya definity info if you need it :>

following the advice from above i got a list of the hunt groups on the system and foud ext 5766 as per below

PLDN 2010
DNSZ 4
STOR 0 5467
STOR 1 5432
STOR 2 5766
STOR 3 5971

i have also found out i can completely remove this as only one of the other numbers is being used now, the others are all on spare desks. just wondering how i remove this, ive gone to ld 57 but i dont know what to type. Sorry again for being a persistant pain.

till you come back to REQ. This will remove the 5766 from the list.

If you want to remove the entire list, in LD 18 you can "out" the list. But before you do that, take note of the DN's listed under "STOR nn nnnn", because those DN's are normally configured to use that list.
Also be aware, that other DN's might use the "PLDN 2010" as a forward or hunt destination, but are not listed in your "LSNO 0057". Typically this is the case if certain DN's are allowed to forward/hunt, but the users do not want to receive calls from that hunt group.
