What do I have to do to add another digital card to my switch?

Yes Slag, other than sliding it in.

That's what I have done and I can assign phones. I just thought I needed to add the new card to the midnight routines some were.

J,

As Slag posted technically that is necessary, in reality just slap it in and start programming ports PROVIDING as GW stated that your ISM's have room/growth.

ISM is a software licence/tn count -- in essence.

If you need additional specifics regarding how ISM's count up let me know
