Im running into some issues with my call recording. Some of my phones have a Primary DN, rollover DN and an MCR which appears on several phones (obviously). My call recording system has several undesireable side effects with recording in VOX mode so I would like to record all in CTI. My problem is that (as I understand it) Nortel can only associate 2 keys through AST. That means that one of the keys is not sending CTI to MLSM and not getting recorded. Any suggestions, workarounds, methods of self mutilation recomended?

Thanks,
Web

For the AST, you will need to purchase AST licensees. In the phone setup, the TN, you assign the keys your recorder will record calls on.
Typically you might assign keys 00 08.
The reason for 00 is this default for an ACD phone. Key 08 is the key across from key 00 on 2216 and 2616. On the 39xx phones it would be key 00 and 03.

Unfortunately, there is no work around in this limitation that I am aware of. It is very frustrating when you have agents who have 2 pdns as well as their ACD key that you want to monitor. We just monitor their ACD key and their first DN...The agents don't have common knowledge that their 2nd line is not being monitored.

This is one of my top complaints of limitations (as well as the limitation of 20 call variables you can have in Symposium)
