Location: Missouri Rep Power: 6 ![]() | One day this week the IXC we use had issues that caused their LD span that terminates on a TMDI card in our 11c to go into red alarm. However, as I have experienced before with TMDI cards, it did not recover after the span issues were fixed (card still showed red alarm), necessitating disabling and reenabling the card to bring it back into operation. However, even though everything was working, the YELlow alarm LED was lit on the card. So, last night I tried to take the card down and force a reload in LD 96 to fix this. The alarm light went out, but all of my channels came up in LCKO. I was able to get the channels working only by disabling and reenabling all 24 individually. The span has an external CSU on it, and Service restore and yellow alarm process are YES. Is there anything I can do (short of replacing TMDIs with the old DTI/PRI card) to make these cards recover without intervention?

TMDI = EVIL They are a poorly designed POS that will operate differently darn near every time you touch one. Just for the sake of argument, can you post your ddb data (ld 73) ?
