We have an Option 11C switch and I have a route of Pots lines that hunt (11 total) for calls in and out of our office.

Is there any way that I could make it so that only the "Main Number" shows up for the CLID instead of the actual line that picks up to place the call?

Right now whatever line picks up is the CLID displayed at the far end. We would like to only display our main number.

Thank You

External CLID ?

That should be easy, just make a CLID table with your main number and put all your DNīs into that CLID.

Morph,

I don't think so, because the trunk group is analog and not PRI. I think CLID only applies to what's put out on the D-Channel.

You may have to go to the provider of the analog trunks and ask if its possible to put out a unique callID for all of them.

I did a CLID Table in LD 15; however, it still does not display the number I have listed. See configuration below:

ENTRY 0
HNTN XXX
ESA_HLCL
ESA_INHN NO
ESA_APDN YES
HLCL 555xxxx
DIDN NO
HLOC
LSC

ENTRY 1
HNTN xxx
ESA_HLCL
ESA_INHN NO
ESA_APDN YES
HLCL 555xxxx
DIDN NO
HLOC
LSC

When you place a call, the number that shows up is xxx-555-TTTT, not the xxx-555-xxxx number.

As VZtech has explained you cannot send CLID over POTS. You will need to contact TELCO and have them set up the CLID.
