Hi everybody, I've been reading posts for a while now and my co-worker figures it's time to get my feet wet with my first post. The problem is with an Option 61 Rlse 3.0 w/mermail. This is located at a resort. The problem is when a guest or employee makes an outside call the wrong name is being displayed on the end they called. It has happened on different phones and in various guest rooms. I have tried to duplicate the problem on the employee phones and have not been able to. The names are not employees, some are guests, but the guest has not stayed in the room that had the problem. This has been reported maybe 6 times in the last month. Thanks in advance for any help.

It could be the CLID table setup or the PMS (Front Desk) software that's programming the room in-correctly during check-in/out.

It would really help you in troubleshooting if you could catch a set in the 'Act' so-to-speak.

I'd say perform a test check-in/out make calls and attempt to duplicate the problem...

Thanks for the reply Chas2002, I've tried the check in/out test and had no problems. I will have to try that again to see if I can catch it in the "act."

I've been looking over the info. and there are no common issues. Different phones, different rooms, and different names.
