| I HAVE A OPTION 81 REL 25.24 I WAS PRINTING SOMETHING OUT,THEN ALL THE SUDDEN IT STOP WORKING. I HAVE HAD THIS HAPPEN IN THE PAST IF YOU 15 TO 20 MINUTES THEN IT STARTS WORKING AGAIN. I AM STILL GETTING THE TIME STAMP AND OTHER INFORMATION.THE CURSER ON TEMINAL IS SIITING THERE FLASHING.I AM GOING TO WANT FOR A WHILE,THEN I AM GOING TO TRY IT REMOTELY FROM A COMPUTER LOOK IN LD 37 TO ENABLE THE PORT. ANY OTHER IDEALS? | ||||||||

| Senior Member  | TTY NOT WORKING The first idea that comes to mind is your baud rate on your TTY. Check the baud rate of the tty, the terminal settings, and your modem settings. Be sure that all settings match. Depending on your equipment you may need to tell a bit of a fib. You may need to set your terminal settings to the next step under what you PBX is configured for. Are you getting any other error messages? Do you have any AUD codes that are unusual? Post examples and the group can post back more specific advise. rlc |

| Are you printing things to a printer ? or just the TTY screen ? It may be the buffer in the printer trying to catch up. You say when it stops printing, you still get time stamps ? TTY is not disabling then. What type of terminal is it, and what are the comm. settings of baud parity stop etc ? Does it do this for only larger print jobs, like multiple TNB's or LTM's of trunks ??? or does it lock on you for smaller jobs as well. | ||||||||
