Selling a Norstar

OK here is one. I have an Opt 11 that I am going to install soon. They are asking for call accounting to track all incoming calls to show CLID of the calling party. I have OTM here at corporate but do not want to buy it for there too. What other systems are out there that you almighty phone guru's are using that is really good.

You would not need to purchase a new OTM. It can be set up as a server with clients off of it. You would just need to add additional licenses for Telecom Billing for the new location. You would also need to ensure that you have a PRI to recieve the CLID and also either a buffer box or use Data Buffering within the Option 11 itself. Assuming it has that capability based on software. As far as setup, the OTM would need to be able to access the ELAN of the 11c so you need to ensure you have a routable IP address assigned to the 11c.

Call Accounting and Switch Management for Nortel

You can look at RSI. They offer call accounting, switch MACs and a whole bunch of other tools specifically for nortel (http://www.telecost.com) or the Nortel Call Accounting site (www.callaccountingsoftware.com).

Spotless
