Can you setup a remote monitor on an 81C Rls3.0 if it's alrady setup with the vendor? Here's the low down:

Currently the vendor is setup to monitor all alarms, T-1's, and all the other major components in the switch. If a T-1 goes down they are notified and they login and find out what is happening.
I’m not sure that they are monitoring any of the D-Channels. We have had one D-Channel go up and down the past two days put the vendor does not login to see. My question is can I set something up so I can see if the D-Channel is down? Also, how about All Trunks Busy?

To the best of my knowledge ATB doesn't toss an alarm to the MTC ports it just comes out in the traffic reports. (if configured)

The rest of it can be done with SNMP or a SEB and some creative programing, sounds like the vendor needs to add DCH release codes to their alarm table... or is that out of scope?

Re: How to read SMDR data

I agree with slag, sounds like they dont have d channel alarms loaded in the SEB database. You might see if they can set you up to get an email when they get an alarm. Not sure if they are using SEB and Iris or not. Iris can email you as well as throw the alarm up on the alarm monitor.
