How Do I....

Due to changes in the configurations of terminals and switches over the years we have ended up with serial cable to serial cable to serial cable to nullifier to 25pin to 9 pin convertor and so one. As you can imagine this has caused a mess. We would like to run new cables between the switch and the terminal PCs. We have one maintenance and one CDR computer system. We would need to start with 25 pins male at the switch TTY card and then get to 9 pin female serieal at the computer (and of course have everything work). We are currently planning to use CAT6 as the medium and then get RJ-45 to 25 pin male at the switch and RJ45 to 9pin Female at the computer. We are using QPC139B as the TTY cards.

I have one tty that need to go to one computer [Maintenance]
and another tty that need to go to another [Call Detail]. I am not sharing one TTY therefore do not need a terminal server. Only the pinouts.

Thanks.

If my battered memory serves me right the TTYs are pretty much plain old RS232... checkHere for the DB-25 to RJ-45 connections.
