We have a Nortel Option 11C with Symposium 4.0. We are looking into purchasing call recording equipment. 87 seats in the call center.

I am looking for opinions on the following companies that we’ve looked into so far plus any other suggestions you feel may be a better solution. We need the system to support Cisco VoIP systems in the future as there is a chance we are moving to that system in a couple years and don’t want to have to re-purchase a new system.

Tantacomm

VoiceLogger

Higher Ground

Opinions? Thanks

I'm not familiar with the 11c but we have a 61 and an 81 that we use Telstrat TALC cards in for recording a greater number of seats than you have. We have been pleased with the product and the support if/when there is a problem.

Appreciate the response but the reason we aren't looking at Telstrat is that is is a Nortel only solution. With us moving to Cisco VoIP in a couple years we'd have to scrap all that.

Appreciate it though.

What about Witness. I think they are still in the recording business.

Telstrat is looking to do Cisco.. It's IP based now and would be real easy to grab voice packets on cisco. You may want to at least talk to them.,

take a look at

www.nice.com

we use their mirra2 product and had no major problems.

mirra 2 is to small for 87 seats but they do have bigger products.

You might like to look at Verint Systems, we have been using for Last 3-4 years. Very good support all runs on windows 2000 servers.

We record station site with dual kroning to voice extensions. All digital sets on Succession Symposium 4.2.

Verint being Nortel partner able to capture agent id etc/incoming cli of cusomter etc.

Systems also offers good reporting and call managment including screen recording of agent desktops for training compliance etc.

Also they are able to record ip as we have a CSE 1000 platform on IP recording a few phones with no issues just monitor the vlan on the cisco switch to the verint recorder.

System can be a little expensive but very reliable.

I'm currently going through an RFQ for a recording system for around 100 agents with a few more to come. Due to various restrictions of the RFQ process I can't "check out" vendors of products who didn't respond to the RFQ.

So now on the table is iDVR, Digital Voice Recording System from Digital Speech and Marathon from Xtend...

iDVR / telstrat seems to be the popular setup around here (the portal) which I like since it means that there are a few of them around; on the flipside whenever I mention telstrat and the TALU cards techs give me that look of sympathy and mumble something about "I hope you have fun with that" but nobody can tell me what the problem is; I suspect it may be more a network connectivity issue than a problem with the product itself. Anyone have any input?

The other two outfits I've never heard of, haven't talk to yet and can't find much info on... anyone have anything on them?
