Hi all, just want to make sure I have this right. We're adding a section in our site surveys for system memory. Below is information taken out of the Configuration Record:

Code:
  MCFN S0B0 S0B1 S1B0 S1B1 S2B0 S2B1 S3B0 S3B1 FLSH TOTL
        016 000 016 000 016 016 000 000 32 096
To me this says that S0B0 is Slot 0 on CP 0, S1B1 is Slot 1 on CP 1 etc. etc.

Is that correct? Also, where does the flash memory mentioned reside? (CP etc?)

aux

The previous information was pulled from a 61C running 3.0

There's also the following format in older systems (This one is a 61C 2911 Release 23.55)
Code:
  MCFN 016 000 016 000 000 000
Can anyone tell me how to decipher this format? (Kind of difficult as there are no headings for each of these columns.)

Thanks,
Arch

Discconect supervision on LOOP line??

You can look at the Software Conversion Procedures for 25.40.
There is a section about determing memory configurations that has some info.

After finding the necessary information in the Rel 25.40 Software Conversion NTP, I went through the same NTP for Release 20B. (In order to decipher the older format listed above) That shows that there are 6 memory slots (T1 through T6) and each number value in MB for the simm in each slot.

Thank you all for your assistance, we're now able to satisfy one more vendor request in our site survey!

I love this site!!!!
