When restarting my PBX only have of my networking equipement and IPE shelves come up on there own. I then have to manually enable loops and controllers for the remaining.

When the system is restarted the software is loaded, the 3PE's, IGS, and TTYs in both my network shelves come up, however, only the loops in

Network (CE) shelve 1 come up on it's one:
Conf/TDS Loop 16/17
PRI Loop 19
SLOOP NET 28
All comes up on it's own.
The system then does a data dump

I have to manually enable all loops in Network (CE) Shelf 0:
Conf/TDA Loop 0/1
PRI Loop 3
SLOOP NET 4
SLOOP NET 9
SLOOP NET 12

This is not a big deal for me to manually enable as I have the procedure completly documented, however, was wondering why the other shelf's loop come up on their and and this shelf's loops I have to enable manually.

Thanks,
Jes

It's not just shelves that do not come up it is the Conf/TDS in the net shelf as well.
I believe the controllers that did not come up were showing 02

How to find out who is observing an agent

Does anyone else have any ideas on what would cause this?

Is there a red light lit on top of your cabinets? YOu might want to start doing some shelf testing in LD 30.

There is no red lights when the shelves are up, however, after a power cycled restart they are all red and then turn off as they come up.

I have ran the SHLF command on all the shelfs and it states OK...

Any other test you can refer me to?

check all your cable connectors , make sure all are latched properly. pay particular attention in the clock & igs cable routing. If everthing o.k. Then try to reboot again. If problem comes up, go to ld 39 stat all your igs and stat scg and try to swap the clock. Try to check the status of ps card in ld32 stat per x. Is this a new install or the existing system ?

Everything always comes up when I manually enable the loops. I just figured that It should bring everything up on it's own.
I will try as you suggested the next time I restart and will let you know.

Capture all of the restart so we can take a look at it. (Might want to make that a download rather than pasting into a thread)
