2. Give yourself MCK / MIK keys to force it out or on

3. Any other MARP or single appearance dns on the set that may have Vmail ?

I'm not familiar with Callpilot admin but with Mer Mail I've seen lamps lit on sets without a voice mail message when the user has exceeded the storage limit that their class of service allows. Check the amount of stored messages on that mailbox.

I dont understand this one! Took his phone out of Symposium, moved his TN on the switch, re-aquired phone with new TN in Symposium, and I even deleted his VM out of Call Pilot and he still has a freaking light on his phone!

Have you tried to FDLF the phone??? This happens to me all the time. I have found that FDLF clears up a lot of problems. Is this a 3900 set??

I am not as familir with M1 as I should be but can you as a user send a "call me back" light to the set. You can on the Nor* and that gets everyone all the time.

Just a thought.

Are there multimedia ports set up in your system? Do you have fax messaging? Without multimedia ports if someone inadvertently attempts to send a fax, you will have a lamp lit with no message.

Had this happen to me once,tried everything I could think of.
Finally deletd mailbox and reinstalled and no further problems.

I finally just outed his phone and added back in. I think it was in the CLS settings because now the light is out. I compared his CLS when he had this problem and now. I will try and look through the old CLS and the new CLS and post back.
