Is it possible to use OTM to dial into a switch from a remote pc, or does there need to be an OTM server configured on the switch side? (81C w/ 3.0)

TBL with TTY

Depends on your connectivity. There is nothing preventing the OTM server or clients from dialing into a remote switch assuming that it has a modem connection.

Thanks SD, I have a existing dial-up connections, but I am thinking about using OTM as a backup for our main site and our three other locations. However, I can't figure out if I can just install the application software on my pc, connect to the switch somehow, and not have to go through a seperate OTM server?

Ok. I am not an OTM expert. We have MAT and are in the process of installing OTM (a long prject because we are IP enabling all the switches). However, I believe that the OTM server has a dongle and that OTM clients do not. The clients do not operate independant of the server. Can you not simply add the main site onto the OTM server so you can access it from your client? I get the feeling that I don't have the full picture of what you site is like and what you are trying to do.

SD, sorry to confuse you, I think I have it figured out now. I was under the impression the OTM was a program similiar to HyperTerminal or Procomm.
