Ok all, I got the SDI Cable pinouts and made up a nice cable for my new Option 11C Lab switch. Now I was wondering if anyone had the pinouts for the cable to connect the Amphenol port to an RJ-45 port. (I really want to put this thing on my network and play around with some more features)

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Arch

I may be thinking of something else but I think you need a transceiver between the cable and the network, I don't think just an adapter is gonna do it...

I think you'll need a Transceiver attached to J1 (not sure about the 11C)..

The 11C uses a 50-pin amphenol to DB15 cable which then connects to a transciever. At any rate, Tek-Tips had a post with the pinout for the cable:

db15******50pin amp (male)
2*********13
3*********17
5*********21
6*********24
9*********11
10********15
12********19
13********23 & 25

Can anyone tell me what kind of transciever to buy?

Thanks,
Arch.
