GREETINGS?

Hi all. I am very new to the progrmming of my comapnies Meridian 1 system. I can basically install new phones and move phones. What I cant do is figure out how to change security codes. My company has codes set up on phones that dont allow you to make calls after 5:30 PM. So you need your code then you can make calls. My CIO has given me a list of people who he wants not to have a code. How do I do this? Which LD is it? Help a newbiw please! Thanks.

Caller ID being sent issue

If you dial a "restricted" number, do you get a tone asking for a special code?
If so, it is auth code and it is ld 88. print out everything before changing it.
You will need the secure password in order to change it and I cannot help you out with that one. Someone at your company should know it.

Does anyone know where I can get a list of Mitel Dealers?

Do the people the CIO doesn't want to have a code, do they have a code now or can they just dial on there phones now after 5:30 and are able to make calls?

Siemens Techs where are you?

Lost,
Do you mean some phones can make calls after 5:30?
Just guessing based on your post - it sound like there are TOD (Time of Day Controls) in the ESN programming.
Or automatic routing control is set up.
Either way the NCOS on the sets controls who can or cannot call after 5:30.
If you know a phone that can call without an access code then compare the NCOS with one that cannot.
Just to be clear - the codes are not on the phones. There is a restriction on the phones that can be overridden by an authorization code.

Call Forward question

What I mean is. That after 5:30 we are not allowed to make any calls. Users have access codes. They dial 16 then their 4 digit code. These codes were put into place before I got here. When i set up new phones I dont know how to set up these codes or where to add them. I dont't know where to change these on existing phones either. I need to know how to set up the restiction codes. If someone can tell me exactly how I would appreciate it.

Codes after 5:30 PM

LD88
PRT
AUT
CUST YOUR CUST NUMBER HERE
SPWP You must have the password 2, If you don't know it you will need to
your vendor to get it. this will list all the AUTH CODES programed
in your switch. If you don't know who these codes belong to, then
you should delete all of then and Qreat new ones. when you Qreat
new AUTH codes, you need to make a list of what person you give
what code to so you can keep track of who has what code. If you
don't have any NTP's , you can go to this URL and read them there
