| Hey guys here is my problem. Say i have 2 phones. They are extension 1000 and extension 2000. Someone calls extension 1000, after five rings it forwards to extension 2000. If no one picks up 2000 it goes to the mailbox of 1000. i want it to go to the mailbox of 2000. I have a mailbox set up for 2000 and if someone calls 2000 directly, it goes to 2000's mailbox. Any ideas? Thanks!! | ||||||||

Location: Lou, KY Rep Power: 9 ![]() | Assuming that you have Meridian Mail. You can make extension 1000 and extension in the mail box for 2000. Go in to MerMail and look at the mail box for 2000. Scroll down to the Extensions area and enter 1000. The message waiting indicator will remain on 2000 and all messages recorded for 2000 will play to callers of 1000. You will need to remove the mail box for 1000 for this option to be successful. There should only be one repository for messages for a given DN. Post back with more questions and your results from you testing. rachelle | ||||||||
