get the drunk home!

Does anyone know if there is an end of life expected for the 51C? We did the upgrade to Succession 3.0 and all is fine for now.

I am thinking of future business planning and how long this puppy can stay reasonably operational before Nortel says they won't support the CPU.

thx!

CP4 processor (Motorola 68060E, NT5D03) is Manufacture Discontinued as of 1 December 2004. End-of-life is 1 October 2007. Last supported software release is X21 Release 4.0. This information is from Bulletin MD-2004-0111-Global-Rev1

I tried to find the document you referenced on the Nortel site. The search in the bulletin section using "MD-2004-0111-Global-Rev1" came up empty.

Yes I was logged in.

Any ideas?

You should be able to find it directly in the "Retirement Bulletins" -> "2004 Bulletins"

Still can't find it. I called the support center for the site and they say it is in a spot where vendors and distributers can see it when loged in but not the typical end user who is loged in.

Explains why I can't find it. I have e-mailed my direct Nortel contact to see if they will send it to me.

Thanks again.
