Why we Drink

Hey guys, I am getting really bad static on my conference bridge whenever I call my office in Cary, NC. It only happnes when I call NC. That office has a regular analog line with a polycom phone on the end of it and we also have the exact same here but it never fails that when I call that office I get static. Does anyone have any way that I can debug this or fix it?

NRU 8.1 & Win2K

Lovell, sounds like you might have an issue at you NC site. Check the polycom there by calling it from another phone other than MICB. If the problem persists. You can re-seat the micb. Sometimes that helps.

Transferring a call externally

Well we have called through the conference bridge using 2 different polycom conference phones in two different locations here at the Headquarters to the same place in Cary NC and we didn't encounter any issues at all. It now seems like users meeting are not also getting deleted mysteriously to. Many when it rains it pours. :laugh: I believe we are on version 2 of the MICB so I am wondering if it just more of a buggy product over time and is just becoming unstable but then again I don't really know how to check to the status of a call while it is progress.

What version of software are you running. I know you are on MICB 2 but what is the full rls. 2.10.5? 2.10.9?

2.10.9 is the latest version but Nortel is wary on giving it out. The deleted users problem is fixed in 2.10.9 along with some other things. contact your vendor see if they can get it
