Hi
My name is Marcelo and I completly newby at Meridian. We have a Meridian Mail 12 (2 big boxes) and I shure that we use only a 0,5 % of the capabilitys of the box.
I need some help to do basic administration, for exemple how to change the display name of an extension, and so.
I took me about 2 weeks to acces by modem to the Meridian, and searching in the Internet found that you have to login and then write AX to go in to the Meridian Mail Logon/Status screen.
I need to know how to go back to the prompt, to use the LD commands.
Another thing: I have an extension that can not capture calls that are ringing in other phones. How can I loose that?
I will appreciatte all the help I can get
Sorry about my poor english and my poor knowledge about Meridian Mail

Regards

Marcelo

Sorry, but It didnt work
I tried both ctrl} and ctrl] and only get a "pip", but still remain in the MerMail console.

Im using a notebook, with HyperTerminal and a modem to conect to the MM.
I hope someone can give me more ideas.

Only way i know is press "cntl" and "]" keys at the same time to come out of meridian mail admin to meridian console.

Regarding the 2nd query, if you are referring to the pick up or ringing extensions from that specific extension, if yes, just check the CLS of that phone , it should be GPUA or DPUA as the case may be.

Hi guys
I´v been succes to change to the console.

Now, I have two task more to do:
How can I change the type of phone? there is an extension that have a M3310 (with display) but in the list appairs as M3110.

Then, the problem with capturing calls.

If someone can tell me which LD to use, and the commands, I will appreciate that.
