Thank a Cancuk for our Turkey

I know you can you put a DN a spare key on the console but can you individually forward it to meridian mail when you want or does the system default control when it forwards to voicemail. Basically they want a separate did on the console and be able to forward it to voicemail when they want to.
Thanx for any help.

Not really. The IADN is designed to allow paged callers to contact the console directly - you can also create another queue (similar to an SCI queue) by programming an IADN ICI.

Basically, once the IADN is dialed, the console state determines treatment (so you couldn't just forward that DN - if would either fall into queue or go into NIT treatment)...

You could try creating the IADN as a DN on a set with Hunt or FDN set, but I'm not sure if you'll be able to program it on the console after that..

Depending on why they want it to go to VM - the IADN ICI setup might work - this notifies all consoles that an IADN call is present and they can choose to loop out and answer the call (out of queue) just as you would an SCI call....
