In the process of troubleshooting a MerMail problem one of the Support Techs I was on the phone with asked if I knew the 2nd level password for Tools?

I told him no and he acted as if everyone knows it.

I don't know if he was yanking my chain because I've never heard of a 2nd level for Tools.
1) Is there such an item?
2) If so, is it a "default" password?
3) What does it permit you to do?
4) Where would I find it?

Thanks, but I know that there is a TOOLS menu, and that the default for it is XXXXXX unless it's been changed to another (usually the customer's system password).

What I'm asking about is what I was asked about. A 2nd level TOOLS menu beyond the "regular" TOOLS menu.

Yes there is a whole set of 2nd level menus behind the regular tools menus. Unfortunately the same rules that apply to PDT, apply to these as well.

If anyone wants to get into the discussion of PDT passwords and who should have access . . . feel free to search the forum. That topic has been beaten to death!
