T1 QSIG Channel Lockouts

Had a strange situation w/ my Option 11 yesterday. On two occassions, the PBX performed a full reboot in itself inexplcably. At the time, one of our IT Guys was logged in to the Terminal on site while I was dialing in remotely to join him. Each time I logged in, the PBX rebooted. Never thought a user logging in or multiple users at the same time could have this impact. It could be a coincidence too. Anyhow, I was able to capture some of the on screen info. A portion of it mentioned:

Reset Reason: 80, 4 - Reset due to CP invoked reset

Could not find any further info on this in the Nortel Docs.
Mind you, neither of us did anything to initiate this. We were both heading for LD 11. The worst result would be an Overlay Conflict. Any thoughts on this odd condition would be appreciated. Thx

I was able to capture some info including that blurb before about Reset Reason. Other info does not appear to be of relevance. SRAM/DRAM info, Security/System ID's, MAC address's etc.

I would run some diagnostic on your call processor (CP) to make sure it is ok. Was there any power disruption?

BCM Cannot turn off speaker

No power issues that I know of....I have noticed that I now show a PRI225 error about once an hour. Could this one error have had such a negative impact. Looks to be a Protocol error

PRI225 is a critical error. I am unsure if it would cause a system restart. The error seems to point to the D-Channel configuration. I would check with your connection provider to make sure the provisioning is setup correctly on both sides.

If dialling on via a modem, this is probably not the problem. But, I read once about if trying to connect to the Meridian on a certain port (connecting via Ethernet), it reboots the switch.

Might want to make sure you have all your patches/deplists installed. Could very well be the culprit is something along those lines.
