There are many things involved when adding PRI circuits. You have to deal with installing the hardware, setting it up in the gate way opener, creating your routes, trunk members, route lists, ect. You might want to slow down and review some of the documentation. I like the documenation on cd the best (MERL). Regarding your PRI's you may want to get a vendor involved, however, stay heavly involved in the process. This would be a good learning experience.

You need hardware, cables, connectors, and the ability to meet the needs of the equipment at the far end. Let me strongly recommend that you call someone in that has had some experience with this sort of installation and configuration. rlc

You may have been wondering why you have not gotten many responses from the questions you have posted. Basically you are trying to configure and troubleshoot areas on the switch even some seasoned folks have trouble with. Please don't take this as an insult, but what you are trying to do, with the knowledge you currently have, will bring you nothing but misery. Even if you were able to stumble through getting some of these circuits up, I would bet you would be having problems in the first few days. Now you are stuck with a production problem. I've been doing this for some time, and even I get stumped sometimes. In fact I am supporting a cutover of an entire NXX, about 10 new PRI's and a port to a new CLEC all at the same site on the same night! As good as I may think I am, I am good enough to know that I'll need about 6 other folks at my level or higher to make this all happen cleanly. The point? Everyone has their limits. This site, and the good folks that support it are here to help in any way. But, they will not do anyone's job for them, and one responsibility of everyone's job is to take on the tasks that they are capable of. Get yourself into some Global Knowledge classes, read the forums religiously, heck, just read through the Features and Services NTP's once in a while, you'll be amazed at the cool things you'll find in there. If you need access to the NTP's online, follow the link at the end of this post, and register yourself. Also, goto the INNUA website at http:\\www.innua.org and find a local chater to join. Many offer seminars at their monthly meetings which are free. Go to the Regional and National INNUA shows, again, great product information, and great seminars all free (other than the show fee). Remember, everyone here started where you are right now. Everyone wanted to skip to page 1587 right away. But we all learned that you need to start off slow, learn the fundamentals of telephony, and before you know it, you'll be spending more of your time answering questions than asking them. Take my advice. This is the best advice your going to get! __________________ Fletch Nortel Emergency Services PLM For more on Nortel E911 Solutions on the web: http://nortel.com/e911 Check out this month's E911 Talk podcast at Nortel E911 Talk Podcasts
