RE:

Can someone please help? I have 4 meridians each with 2 mail systems. 3 of these systems are in different cities. I want to be able to administer mail from a centralised location...can someone suggest a solution to do this please?

Vote early, avoid the confusion!!

Hi. Meridian Mail. I have guessed I need some sort of Async232 converter, but all the ones I have found are painfully slow.

Hope that casket's packin!

You can? I didn't know you could set-up a LAN conn with MerMail.
I've always did the old fashion way with a Modem NE & FE/Procomm Plus/ VT100 / Keyboard Editor.

Razz to he UK Footie's on this board!

There are certainly protocol converters out there, but I have not found one suitable to use on a daily basis. The closest I have found is @ www.b2net.co.uk or www.digi.com. I would really like to find something that runs a little quicker than 230 kbps

our mail goes to a pc that is connected to a dsview box. we then load the dsview program on our machines and dsview into mail.

could you hook the mail to a pc and load pcanywhere on the pc and your machine and get in that way?
