Location: At My Place Rep Power: 4 ![]() | distinctive ringing Could somebody tells me how DID works, i mean how did calls goes directly to an extension??Does we have to confugre some where that this call is for some specific extension.(except LD 49, where we define digit conversion. am not asking abt defining a table for some special digits or ext)How a call goes to an ext.I saw a system where calls r going to ext without setting up a digit conversion table in ld 49.

Location: MIAMI, FLA Rep Power: 7 ![]() | IN MOST CASES THE INCOMING DIGITS FROM THE CENTRAL OFFICE WILL MATCH THE EXTENSION NUMBER OF THE PHONE, THIS IS THE SIMPLEST WAY TO DO IT. AND MOST OF THE TIME IT WILL BE A NEW INSTALL. THE OTHER WAY IS THROUGH DIGIT CONVER IN LD 49 WHERE YOU BUILD A TABLE WITH THE INCOMING DIGITS AND WHAT THEY WILL BE CONVERTED TO, THEN IN THE RDB YOU TELL IT THAT IT HAS A IDC TABLE
