anybody witn an idea? I have in vain tried to config and connect an option 11c over the local area netwofk. Nothing seems to work. Any help?

well PBX (NORTEL) OPTION 11C. How do you configure it so that you can access it over LAN/WAN (ethernet config)

I have just done this for Mer Mail admin. Connect an RS232 to TCP/IP converter to the SDI port and connect this onto your LAN. Have a look at http://www.digi.com/pdf/prd_ds_digionesp.pdf I went for the TS as it has extra security features in it. You assign an IP to the digi one and then connect to this either using telnet or reflections etc.....or use OTM!

Have a look at the "Installing and Connecting an Ethernet Cable" section in the Small System Installation and Configuration NTP.
