Currently we are running VOIP over the WAN via Cisco router connecting a Meridian 81C to a NEC. The Cisco router is very unreliable and looking for other equipment.

We are basically looking for a piece of equipment that will take a T1 covert to IP and then back to a T1.

We have been happy with our Cisco equipment.
Nortel has there own line of switches and Routes (formally Bay Networks). I guess you can't go wrong with Nortel Switch (PBX) and a Nortel Router.

unfortunatly I got my hands on that media trix stuff. I hope that never happens again

. Cisco routers are very reliable and so are Nortels. Stay away from little bity companies whose tech support speakes with a heavy french canaidian accent when they bother to answer the phone at all 8 to 5 eastern time (mediaTrix)
