Qsig on MD110 routing as external - PBX Info :: Your Free PBX, PABX and Telephone Information Resource

Hi, I am currently experincing some problems at a customer site where we have connected a dialogic gateway to an MD110 using Qsig. everything works fine for calls to and from the gateway apart from one issue. When a call comes from the gateway into the MD110 and is directed to the voicemail, it is presented on the voicemail as an external call rather than an internal call. It appears that the MD110 has the Qsig connection set as external trunk and not as an internal network.
We have connected the gateway to other pbx's and not experienced this kind of issue before. We are currently reliant on the customers dealer to maintain and program the MD110 and they do not appear to be forthcoming as to a resolution.
Does someone know about the programming of the MD110 that can advise me whether there are any settings that could make the pbx see the Qsig connection as an internal link rather than an external one.

If any one can assist I would be most grateful

OK I may be able to help..... 1. what version of MD110 are talking about. can you post CADAP? 2. how are the ports to your voicemail server/box cofigured? eg CAS DPNSS etc.

For you diversion to vooicemail do you use CDINI:dir=xxxx,div=xxxx;

Hi , we still have this problem. the current level on the MD110 is BC13

How are the ports for the voicemail configuried? do they use DPNSS or CAS.......

What happens if you use pelpI's for this issue try this on a test extension and see if it works.

Pelpi:dir=XXXX,list=1,cho=1,bsycho=2,anspos=(same as dir),time=16;
pelpi:dir=XXXX,list=1,cho=1,anspos=(Voimail ext),time=10;

this is another way to do busy no answer diversion. try it and let me know how you go
