FXO and predigits

Hello to all!

How can I configure analog extension to insert numbers in front of the dialed number? This was worked fine before with FXS device. But then was configured external destination, and in command RODDI, parameter PRE was set to insert predigits. Now, we have FXO device and I can`t figure out how to set that predigits. Or, maybe this have to be set in FXO device?

Thanks for any help and I hope you understood what is the problem

cheers,
bb34nne

Hi bb34me,

Do you mean short dials mate? You could try the PE & GE commands.
Ex.
GEDIIIR=1234,CSP=x;
PELPIIR=1234,LIST=1,CHO=1,TIME=30,ANSPOS=number to be dialled;

Regards,
Sepay

Note: if this is the case, make sure that the traffic matrix would only allow FXO users to user this short dials.

OK, thanks for helpful answers. Another question: if I want to send pause between numbers, what do I have to put for pause? I think that FXO device need some time to process call. In my case, analog number connected to FXO is 3563. PRE digits that I want to send is 4101201. If I use common abbreviated dialling, number what I want to send is 3563pause4101201. How to put pause between analog number and PRE digits?

thanks
