Hi Eric's son,

Haven't done that, but I've interfaced our fax server with MD110 DC12, using ISDN interface on both. With some number traslation for dial out. Do you need the config?

Regards,
Sepay

Hi Eric's son,

Our's was configured for users to receive faxes thru email or thru the local intranet.

Here's the config:
1. create routes that would connect the PABX to the telco & fax server
RODAI:ROU=xx,TYPE=SL60,VARI=10020000,VARO=00410020 ,VARC=00000950,FILTER=NO;(interface with telco)
RODAI:ROU=yy,TYPE=SL60,VARI=00000000,VARO=06300000 ,VARC=00008300,FILTER=NO;(interface with fax server)

2. create the necessary category for the routes.
ROCAI:ROU=xx,SEL=0110000000000010,SIG=111100000031 ,TRAF=00151515,TRM=5,SERV=0000000001,DIST=30,DISL= 128,NODG=0,BCAP=111111;
ROCAI:ROU=yy,SEL=0110000000000010,SIG=111110000030 ,TRAF=00151515,TRM=5,SERV=2100000001,DIST=30,DISL= 128,NODG=0,BCAP=001100;

3. create the access code for local pabx users to call the fax servers local
RODDIEST=(access to yy),ROU=68,ADC=0005000000000250000000000,TRC=0,SRT =3,NUMACK=0;

4.) identify the numblock to be used. Enter the data on Number translation.

NUTRI:ENTRY=(numseries, telco numbers),CNVTYP=0,PRE=(translation,access to fax server & locals),TRC=7,CONT=0,NUMTYP=4;

note: Am using standard ericsson programming, need to be changed if your using another standard.
Configuration on the fax server will vary, depending on the type of signalling and the data to be sent or receive.
this config is for calls to be rerouted to the other route where the fax server is connected.

regards,
Sepay
