The following bugs (errors) are commonly found in IP Office installations:

And they are somewhat desperating.

I am posting it here, to check certain tricks that may be applied to fix them (at least temporarily)

I am posting it here, also, to found a channel for some partners to make escalation to Avaya itself.

They vary by operating system, version of the application, and some other causes.

note: sorry for posting this without format, but cannot upload tables.

  • Application:Call Status
  • Release:4.0
  • event:start application
  • PC platform:Windows XP, SP2
  • error:Resource TMainForm not found
  • severity:high, can’t start application.
  • Reported:Not known until now
  • Fixed:?
  • Application:Phone Manager
  • Release:3.2 - 4.0 – 4.0.15 – 4.0.20
  • event:Login after application startup
  • PC platform:Windows XP, SP2
  • error:List index out of bounds (10)
  • severity:Mid, applications starts with limited functionality
  • Reported:On tech bulletin No. 80
  • Fixed:?
  • Application:Phone Manager
  • Release:3.2 - 4.0 – 4.0.15 – 4.0.20
  • event:Login after application startup
  • PC platform:Windows server 2003
  • error:List index out of bounds (5)
  • severity:Mid, applications starts with limited functionality
  • Reported:On tech bulletin No. 80

  • error:EAccessViolation
  • severity:high, can’t start application

  • Fixed:Add the program to the “execution prevention menu”

Have you tried adding the executable to the DEP exclusion list in each of these cases. I don't remember having come across any of these problems other than the last one, and I am sure the last couple of servers I have come across the problem, adding it to the exclusion list allowed call status to run with no problem.

This looks like an ad. That web site has all kinds of things for sale (sort of like Craig's List) and the only reference to IP Office were people wanting to sell you one. No mention at all of any of the supposed problems told about above. This is not a technical support web site. Proceed with a very large grain of salt.
