Voicemail in Email

So forgive me if I don't use the correct terminology, and please ask for me to elaborate and I'll try and get you the info you need to formulate an answer for me. I'm new to IP Office. I've worked on every other type of switch that Avaya has to offer, just new to this.

One of the features we're using here is IMS (Integrated Messaging Service) which to my knowledge is what allows voicemail to be delivered to a user's email account.

The problem comes in when my boss says to me that his Windows Mobile 5.0 cell phone, which is synched to his Exchange account, does not receive these voicemail emails. (voicemail email being an email with an voicemail message inside) I'm wondering if there's a way to get that working for him and make me look like the freakin' hero around this place, or if he's just S.O.L. and there's no way to do it.

Any help in either direction would be appreciated.

Come on! Make me the hero!!!! DO IT!!!

You may be better off using the standard VoiceMail integration instead of IMS. The standard VoiceMail integration sends the VoiceMail message as a .wav attachment to an email template you can alter.

IMS sends the VoiceMail message embedded in the email with controls and it is probably these controls that are not being transferred out to the Mobile device due to the settings/policies established on the Exchange Server.
