Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Gear: AVAYA IP OFFICE 406 with control unit analog POTS2 installed. There’s three analog trunks plugged to the pbx, which are authorized for national long distance calls. These trunks are identified with numbers 5,6 and 7 and number 3 for outgoing group id and incoming group id too. The system short codes are assigned via main short codes, on the other hand other shortcuts are set inside some user rights profiles to restrict non authorized people to make LD calls leading them to busy tone. So that when (authorized) user dials 9 (outgoing digit) and later 0X A123-4567, the call is routed via operator 07, i.e. 07 A123-4567 for any of the three lines. (A is the area digit in my country) However when a call is generated the call status shows me that the outgoing call line is line 5, and if any other user tries to dial another LD call, that call just doesn’t go out, line 6 and line 7 never activate. Shortcut details code: [9]05N function: Dial number: 07N line groud id: 3 locale: (empty) force account code: unchecked (and so on for [9]05N, [9]07N, [9]09N) Thanks in advanced for any hint! Note: (telephones in my country are conformed just for eight digits) thanks ZebrAYA

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Well, the solution to this problem is given, by an engineer of my Avaya Silver Business Partner… I had left the LINE > analog options > trunk type > OUT OF SERVICE! In the line 6 and 7. So effectively the lines could not rotate because only the line 5 was in “LOOP START”. Once this parameter was changed (and the machine rebooted) everything is working fine. Anyway as a good engineer I’ll keep on checking the differences between configurations and how they work regarding the outgoing call routing. Thanks for your help!
