Modules are programmed exactly the same as Short Codes.

The additional feature that Modules gives you over Short Codes is the ability to use them over and over again. For example, if you create a big automated attendant structure with dozens of options and greetings. If you want to use this structure for when people call the sales DDI and also the support DDI and also the main number DDI then you could create it 3 times in Short Codes but that will take you a long time. Creating one Module means you can point each Start Point to the module wherever you want and multiple times using the GoTo action. Then use the Module Return action to send the caller back to the Start Point they came from. Look in the Engineer's Toolkit for examples.
