Unhappy Help Please

Guys,

Hope you are well. I have taken over a Alchemy system. ( i know i may not be in the right forum sorry) Manager 2.2. Basically i know next to nothing about this gear (boss has dropped it on my lap)

What is happening is that this client has a Hunt group and they have an overfolow group as well. However if the people in the hunt group are on the phone the call does not go to the overflow group.

The following settings are on the Hunt group
Hunt Group Tab
no answer 10 secs
overflow time 10secs
ring mode group
Overflow group is set

Voicemail Tab
No settings set

fallback Tab
time profile standard
in service
night service fallback grouop is set to night

Queing
Not set

OverflowGroup
Hunt Mode
No answer 10secs
Overflow 60secs
users are in the extensions list

Voicemail
No settings

Fallback
Time profile standard
In service

Queing
Not set

I am not sure if that is enough info!!! IOf i can give anymore please let me know.

Thanks very much for any help you can give

Kind regards

Simon

Sorry, I have never heard of a phone system manufacturer called Argent. If it were made by Mitel, or Comdial, or Cisco, or Inter-Tel, etc, I would redirect you to the forum for that manufacturer.

There is a catchall forum for all other phone systems here, you could try there.

Do they have a web site that you can get documentation from or a tech support number you can call. If there is someone here with experience on an Argent phone system it is unlikely they will look in this forum unless they also have an Avaya IP Office.

I would suggest reposting your question with the name of the phone system in the title, such as "Need help with Argent". If someone recognizes that, they will help. Sorry, that is the best I can do for you.

The Argent/Alchemy range was the predecessor of the IP Office. You don't think that Avaya came up with the concept all by themselves do you. No they bought another company that was already making the system.
