Softphone problem

hi to every one
I have installed the IP412 with the softphone and voiemail pro.Internally softphone is working fine.I have VPN connectivity at the site,fro outside still it is not working when try from outside. Is there any gateway is required for this thing.can any one help in this matter. Thanks a lot.

It sounds like a firewall issue. If it works internally then your programming is correct.

Check you don't have a firewall on the VPN connection (you don't need it, it'se secure anyway). But leave the firewall on your Internet connection.

From the outside, can you ping the IP Office? Need to check that the IP routing is setup correctly - just pinging won't ensure that speec will actually work, it's just a basic level test.

What is the IP address of the system? What is the IP address of your VPN connection?

Hi
IP address of the IP office is 192.168.3.100 Subnet 255.255.255.0
Range of IP address on LAN is start from 192.168.3.5 to 192.168.3.250.
and subnet is 255.255.255.0.
Is there any additional setting is required for the same thing?

So the office LAN is 192.168.3.0/24

What is the user at home using for an IP address? Do they get DHCP from the ADSL router?

Your VPN connection will also get an IP address from the VPN server. What is this address?

Do you have an IP route in the IP Office config?

Can you ping from the home PC to the office LAN?
