Hi everyone,

My name is Paul, and [strike]i'm an alcoholic[/strike] (apparently strikethrough doesn't work, if anyone knows a fix i'd been keen to hear it ) telephone technician. I've been in this field for around 14 months or so.

I predominantly work with a small Australian phone system that goes by the name Hybrex, but it may be sold in other countries under a different name. I've also picked up a little bit of programming on smaller Panasonic systems - TD816 and such, and i'm currently in the process of picking up some skills with mid sized Siemens systems so you might find me lurking around the Siemens forum.

I'm very happy to have found a forum such as this one where information is freely available and so easy to access. Most of my knowledge of phone systems has been taught on the job and in my own time, so a resource like this forum is something i've been keen to tap into to take my understanding to a higher level.
