I have been browsing this site for about 3 months or so now, but just now registered as a user. I am an accidental technician, and rather enjoy learning all of this great stuff, but it can also be frustrating. I have my own business in secretarial and graphic design, but I also work full time at a nonprofit organization.

We have a Norstar DR5 setup, and I just purchased off ebay a Startalk C 2450 2.0 L. I know it's old, but that is as good as it gets right now. It is better than nothing at all, considering our receptionist quit, and we are not going to hire another one. So guess who is answering the phone? Yup that's right ME! And I hate it! Thus startalk....

So if I gripe a few of you that have moved on in this world of technology, I apologize upfront, and if I gripe a few of you that are real technicians, I apologize for that also. Thank you for allowing people like me on this site. We need it!

Hello and welcome, all these guys (and gals) started somewhere (they just need reminding every so often!).
