First, welcome to our house.

Second, could you clarify your question a little? What exactly are you looking for? What do you consider a major feature?

Most (if not all) modern PBXes support a variety of phone types including analog, digital, and IP. They provide a large assortment of features to use with these phones and will interface with a variety of CO provided circuits. Integration between the various brands is possible to some degree with some being much easier than others.

Each brand has its' pluses and minuses and you need to decide what is important to you.

Sounds like you need to sit down and have a chat with your local vendors and see what they can supply. For all of the features that a PBX may have, without the support from a good vendor, you'll find yourself here asking many questions which either the vendor would normally answer or wouldn't even need asking in the first place.

Julian has good advice. It goes back to my original question, what do you consider a major feature? Every modern PBX has hundreds of features that can be enabled and some I would consider major but you would not.

For instance, conferencing. To some people having the PBX be able to provide conferencing is a very major feature but we do not use it. When a conference call needs to be made we use conference bridges provided by MCI.

What you should do is sit down with all the major players at your company and decide what you want your phone system to do. Don't just look at a list of features, decide what you want it to do. Once you have those specs contact your local vendors and tell them what you want. All the major vendors and most (if not all) the smaller vendors will be able to give you what you need and several features that you didn't know you needed also.

Are you wanting a list of every PBX made today with a list of every feature on each PBX?

If that is what you are looking for, I am not aware of any such list. Creating it and maintaining this list would be a monumental task involving a lot of people. It would need to be updated every time a new software release came out.

Perhaps if you explain why you want this we could help.

Alot good points being made here. One that no one gave yet is, "What is it that you need your phone system to do for you?" You need to set some guide lines. Then talk to some vendors and see what they have to offer.
