Question 2250 console problem on succession 1000m

Hi all,

Almost every morning the 2250 console for my succession 1000m pbx would show no display on the screen but calls would be received as normal. Also at times the lights on all the keys would be light and the console would become non-functional. I would have to unplug the RJ45 cables from the wall jack and the first problem would go away, but with the second problem, I would have to reboot the PBX. Simply disabling and enabling the ports does not work. I've changed out the console just to eliminate but that did not work.

Any bright ideas? will appreciate.

Did you try replacing the line card?

You also will get better responses by posting in the Meridian Systems forum.

Console Trouble

Try printing out the console programming in the PBX. Then out the console and rebuild it in the PBX. I have had one console due similar things in a hospital here that we maintain. This is the only fix I found. I, too, tried everything but rebooting which the hospital would not allow. Iit didn't eliminate the problems. Knock on wood, since I did the rebuild, I haven't had any problems to reoccur and it has been over 6 mos. I have also seen this on digital sets with features not working properly or appearing properly and the rebuild has fixed the issue. Not sure if the data in the PBX gets corrupt or what. Have you checked the cabling and power? This seems to be a wiring issue.
