Does anyone know how to place a conference call using a Polycom Soundstation on Inter-Tel Axxess system? I've tried dialing one party, pressing flash, and it puts the 1st party on hold and gives me a new dialtone. I dial the second party, but when I press flash again it drops the 2nd party. TIA

Is that a feature that is set up in the switch ahead of time or is that standard code for all InterTel systems?

i think the default is 395, but take a look in db programming under devices, then feature codes.

Thumbs up How to make a conference call with a Polycom and an Inter-Tel PBX

I just finished set-up my Polycom phone to our Inter-Tel Axxess PBX.

To make a conference
- Turn On the Polycom phone
- Press FLASH to access the PBX
- Dial the "outgoing call" feature code (by default it is number
- Dial the number of the first person
- For any additional person
- Press Flash to access the PBX (the first line will be put in hold)
- Dial the outgoing call feature code (by default it is number
- Dial the number of the additional person
- Dial the "conference" feature code (by default it is number 5)

With the feature codes you can do pretty mush anything a regular phone does.

Good luck
